Anatomy for Artists Workshop

An anatomy for artists workshop series to improve your skills in drawing the human figure both from a live model and memory. You will learn how to draw an anatomically correct figure in a friendly atmosphere without medical jargon. Working together we will discuss the basics of human anatomy and the most common mistakes in figure drawing and how to avoid them. We will look at old masters’ drawings and how they have incorporated anatomical knowledge into their own work.

During the workshops you will be drawing from a live model. The series will be run by Maria Kuzma-Kuzniarska, a medical illustrator and artist specialising in human anatomy. Please note that the classes are available in English only. Previous drawing experience is preferred but not required to attend the workshops. Open to all skill levels, beginners are welcome.
